Junior Treasurer

We are looking for an ambitious Junior Treasurer to join our team and support our daily financial operations. In this role, you will assist our finance team in managing our daily treasury activities. You will report directly to the Treasury Manager and work closely with other departments to ensure that our financial operations run smoothly. You will be responsible for multiple entities of COUNT Group.

Key Responsibilities 

  • Manage bank account management activities  
  • Manage controlling the liquidity, cash and loan positions of the companies  
  • Performing short term borrowings through credit lines with banks  
  • Cooperate very closely with internal departments (Accounting, logistics)  
  • Support with: New or maturing credit facility agreements with banks concerning credit lines, term loans, overdraft rates, deposit and interest rates  
  • Support on IT: Manage and update Treasury management systems, payment systems issues, responsible for all treasury back-up documentation for audit compliance from banks and internal procedures  
  • Performing cash management activities, including cash forecasting, and wire transfer execution;  
  • Liaising with banks, auditors,   
  • Assisting with financial projects and analyses as required;  
  • Maintaining accurate records of all treasury transactions and activities 

 

Your profile:  

  • Bachelor’s degree (HBO) in accounting, finance  
  • Relevant work experience in treasury, cash management, and banking  
  • Knowledge of treasury management systems and financial instruments  
  • Advanced MS Excel skills (creating spreadsheets and using financial functions)  
  • Accuracy and attention to detail  
  • Good analytical insight and a hands-on mentality  
  • Great collaboration and communication skills  
  • Able to quickly learn and adapt; a solution oriented, flexible mindset  
  • Good command of English and Dutch, both in speech and writing
